Aseem Kapoor

Project

Its okay not to be okay

After working with the best draper, Tarun Tahiliani, for over fifteen years, Aseem Kapoor has started his own eponymous label. He re-imagines natural textures and tribal motifs for a modern lifestyle, with a nod to the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, celebrating imperfection and simplicity.

IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY

This brand film describes the brand’s identity as embedded in the human experience's delicious ambiguity. Through the designs and techniques, Aseem Kapoor explores the notions of right and wrong, what’s okay and what’s not, and challenges his long-held belief systems.
